When you’re told your child scored 80% in Maths, what does that mean?
It means that the child has done well but there is scope for improvement. Excelonz believes that your child could be good at Algebra but may be having trouble with Geometry. Our aim is to help the child understand concepts at topic level. Through unlimited online practice children will not only overcome their difficulties in different topics like algebra and geometry but become confident and better equipped for learning concepts of mathematics as a complete subject. This added proficiency improves their academic performance.
That’s the reason at Excelonz you will never see consolidated subject scores because our aim is to help parents, teachers and children understand performance and potential at a concept level rather than a subject level.
We also believe that evaluation through time-based tests and assessments may not always provide an accurate picture of the child’s performance or potential, given the multiple factors that may be at play at the time of assessment such as stress, health etc. Most modern education systems are actively promoting continuous evaluation to do justice to understanding the real potential of a child. So, our assessments are based purely on the practice time children spend on Excelonz and not on the testing time. We believe in maximizing their performance and potential through regular practice.

a) A detailed topic wise breakdown of your child’s practice time and performance
b) How he or she is faring vis-a-vis the global peer group through global percentile scores
c) A skills report on what skills your child is inherently good at.
